by: dissertation writing service

I watch you run around the room
And laugh as you prance to a happy tune
Your giggles are priceless; they make me smile
You are a most precious little child

When life gets me down and it all seems so wrong
Playing with you is like a beautiful song
You adorably sit while I play with your hair
Time spent with you is a breath of fresh air

Your beautiful eyes look at me with love
Your skin is as soft as feathers on a dove
To hold you and rock you as you fall asleep
All these things fill my heart with feelings quite deep

Your squeals and laughter as you swing so high
Is so contagious that I often laugh till I cry
Too often I just brush off my work with a shrug
Choosing instead to scoop you up in my arms for a hug

You are a reminder of what I had long ago
When my first baby girl did make my heart glow
There soon came a second baby girl, and then a little boy
I never knew life could be so full of joy

My own little babies have all grown up
But here you are now filling my half empty cup
You may not be my child; I am only your aunt
But I am ever so grateful for the time with you spent

I know all too well that time will fly fast
And one day these memories will also be past
But for today and tomorrow I will enjoy every smile
As I bask in the love of a precious little child
